Gearing up for the bedbug’s season

Chances are, you or someone you know has had a run-in with bed bugs. It might have happened in a thoroughly clean bedroom. Or maybe it was a hotel room, office or college dorm.

Bedbugs are small, oval, brownish insects that live on the blood of animals or humans. Adult bedbugs have flat bodies about the size of an apple seed. After feeding, however, their bodies swell and are reddish in color.

Bedbugs do not fly, but they can move quickly over floors, walls, and ceilings. Female bedbugs may lay hundreds of eggs, each of which is about the size of a speck of dust, over a lifetime.

A bedbug infestation can be spotted anywhere, homes, apartments, hotels, hospitals, schools and college campuses, office buildings, retail stores, movie theaters, and even public transportation.

LITTLE ROCK, Ar. (KARK) – Between family visits and getaways this holiday season, many may not be aware of the common unwanted travel companion of bed bugs. They’re known for being hitchhikers and can travel on people and their belongings.

“They’re about the size of an apple seed, kind of dark brownish in color,” Hal Johnson, Termnix Branch Manager, said.

Pest management company Terminix recently released the Top 50 Bed Bug invested cities for 2019. Philadelphia, New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, Indianapolis and Cincinnati top the list. Memphis came in at number 17. Little Rock was number 23 and Fort Smith was 30.

Terminix has this advice for those traveling to hotels over the holidays.

A family from Florida tells MTN they ran into exactly that here in Bozeman.

Lesli Rubin claims that she, her husband, and her seven-year-old son were in the middle of a trip across the country, enjoying the summer, when they stopped for the night at a Quality Inn and Suites in Bozeman on June 25.

The next morning she claims red spots popped up across her son’s skin.

That’s when she says the trouble started.

“It’s a nightmare,” Rubin says. “I’m telling you, this is a nightmare.”

Tired from the road, Florida nurse Lesli and her husband, David, a surgeon, stopped at the Quality Inn with their son in tow.

To get the solution, why not we opt for the low hazard, low-toxic, and eco- friendly products provided by C Tech Corporation.

At C Tech Corporation, we manufacture a product named Termirepel™ which is an anti-termite and insect repellent. The product works on the mechanism of repellence and does not kill the target species but repel them. Termirepel™ an insect repellent spray is an easy to use product and compatible with most of the surfaces. A bedbug repellent spray is available which can be diluted in water and can be sprayed later as per need to repel the bugs.

Termirepel™ lacquer can be directly applied to the already installed application such as seats, wires, and cables, etc. The lacquer is compatible with most of the surfaces like metal, concrete, polymer, ceramic, etc.
